Chocolate-Covered Popcorn


3/4 cup popcorn kernels
1/2 cup of milk chocolate chips
1 tsp Crisco

  1. Pop popcorn.
  2. Cover a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Remove unpopped kernels and spread popcorn on the cookie sheet.
  4. Melt chocolate chips with Crisco in top of a double boiler over simmering water, stirring frequently and scraping down the sides with a rubber spatula until mixture is creamy, about 5 minutes.
  5. Drizzle melted chocolate over popcorn.
  6. Let sit at room temperature for approximately 15 minutes or until chocolate hardens.
  7. Share, eat and enjoy! Store leftovers in an airtight container.
