Add 2-3 TBSP of cooking oil to a 3-quart pot. Preheat the oil over medium-high heat. Add 1/4 cup of kernels (or desired amount), cover with a lid and gently shake. When popping slows to 1-2 pops every couple of seconds, remove pan from heat.
Microwave Directions
Add 2-3 TBSP of cooking oil to a microwave-safe bowl. Add 1/4 cup of kernels and cover with a vented lid. Microwave on high for approximately 4 minutes or until popping slows to 1-2 pops every couple of seconds. Note: A brown paper lunch bag can be used instead of a bowl.
Air Popper
Preheat the popper for 1 minute. Then add popcorn kernels (see popper’s directions for recommended amount).
Store in an air-tight container and keep it in a cool, dry place.
Or
Store in the freezer in a sealable freezer bag.
Note: You do not want popcorn to dry out or to become wet. Popcorn does best at a steady and even moisture rate. Its shelf life will be longer if stored properly!
